Badi G. Foster

It is with a heavy heart we share the news, Badi G. Foster, age 76, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in Evanston, Illinois.

​

Badi truly lived a life of service to others and had a phenomenal ability to affect people in a deep and positive way.  He had an extraordinary ability for story telling and building a relationship with everyone who met him.  Every interaction with Badi was an opportunity to grow intellectually and emotionally wiser about the world and one's own consciousness.

​

He is preceded in death by his son Qasim (age 9) and survived by his wife of 54 years, Juanita; son, Nabil; sisters, Tahirih and Zarrin; niece/nephew, Anisa and Kalim; brother-in-law, Brian and daughter-in-law, Tanya.

​

We know Badi made a difference to a lot of people's life, so we have planned a memorial/celebration of life for Badi on March 23, 2019 in the Chicago area. Below are the details:

 

Memorial Date:  Saturday, March 23, 2019

Time: 1:00 p.m.

Location:  Northwestern University in Harris Hall

                  1881 Sheridan Road

                  Evanston, IL  60208

Parking: There is street parking close to campus and a parking lot to the east of Harris Hall.
